Year 3

A very warm welcome to the Year 3 website page. Here you will find information about our previous and current learning, photos and other important information.

This year there are 2 classes in Year 3:

3AH are taught by Mrs Honeybourne (Mon-Weds) and Mrs Allwright (Weds-Fri)

3I are taught by Miss Imtiaz.

PPA time is covered by Mrs Dearman.

The children and teachers are also supported by the Teaching Assistants: Mrs Gray and Miss Daviu

On this page you will find lots of information about what to expect in Year 3, including the topics you will be studying, what you need to remember, and photos of our learning so far.

HOMEWORK

Homework is set weekly, and it is designed to help you practise and consolidate learning that happens in school. Homework is given out in your Homework books on a Friday and should be completed by the following Wednesday. There will be two pieces of homework set each week:

- Maths

                                         - Topic or English

READING

We would like you to encourage your child to read at home every day. Please ensure that your child has a current book, appropriate to their level and understanding, with them each day. This could be a book from home or school (if they are still reading books from the reading scheme).
