St Mary's Nursery

St Mary's CE School Nursery is housed in our purpose built Early Years building on the school site with extensive outdoor provision.

Our highly qualified and dedicated Nursery team, led by our Assistant Head and Early Years Leader, Miss Rolfe, work to provide a warm and welcoming environment for the children. We aim to nurture each child to help them develop their confidence and independence through a range of high quality interactions and stimulating activities.

We ensure parents receive on-going information and support regarding their child's learning and development through online learning journals, Stay and Play sessions and daily welcome time. Communicating how and what the children are learning helps to equip parents to support their child's learning in the home environment.

We will are now full in our Nursery for the 2023-24 academic year. Please contact the school office for further information on our waiting list.

Our Aims

To provide a stimulating play based environment that enables children to learn through experimenting and exploring alongside adults who support their learning and development through questioning.
“Play underpins all development and learning for young children.”
