Maths: Negative Numbers.

Click on the link and watch the video, and then complete the worksheet. You can print this or write your answers on a separate piece of paper. Once you have finished, you can check your answers. If this lesson has taken you less than an hour - and you have checked and corrected your mistakes - then please do the extension tasks and/or Times Tables Rockstars.

Miss Rice's Maths: Ordering Numbers.

You will be putting more than 2 numbers in order, in today’s lesson. Remember to read the questions carefully so you know if you are starting with the greatest (biggest) or smallest each time.

English: To use a range of conjunctions, adverbials and punctuation to write a cohesive paragraph.

You will need to be able to see the sheet named English day 2 sentences for task. You do not need to print this. Watch the lesson and follow the instructions. Pause the video when you are asked to and complete the task at the end of the lesson.

Spelling:

To understand the spelling rules –ible and –able (Lesson 4.31) Complete the worksheet. If you do not have a printer, then you can write each question on paper.

The following resources are for those children who have been asked by their teacher to complete a separate lesson for Monday's English lesson, Monday's Grammar lesson and the week's Spelling lessons.  If you have not received a phone call asking you to use these lessons, then please complete the lessons above for Year 5. 

For those children to whom it is relevant, complete the worksheet: vowel digraphs – ee and –ea (Lesson 1.6).
