The lesson is live at 11:30, but you can watch it any time after that if you can’t watch live at 11:30.

There is an activity sheet for this lesson, which you can either print or view on screen. It is in today’s resources.

Spelling/Grammar time

The World Book Day Author and Illustrator Academy (see link below) has lots of fantastic videos of authors and illustrators explaining how to create your own amazing characters, stories and illustrations.

Choose one of the videos to watch and have a go at creating a story or illustration of your own.

Vote For Your Next Class Book.

Click on the links below.

There are three videos, one from each of the teachers. Listen to them introduce one of their favourite books. For each book, you will be asked to write queries (questions) and theories (predictions).

Once you have listened to all three, choose which book you would most like to read by using the voting form.

If you are interested in finding out more about authors, below is a link to the World Book Day site. They have a live lesson at 10:30 tomorrow (Friday 5th March) that can also be viewed afterwards on YouTube. It has interviews and question and answer session with three great children’s authors.
