Click on the link and watch the video, and then complete the worksheet.  You can print this or write your answers on a separate piece of paper.  Once you have finished, you can check your answers.

If this lesson has taken you less than an hour - and you have checked and corrected your mistakes - then please do the extension tasks and/or Times Tables Rockstars.

Miss Rice's Maths Group:

Lesson Objective: Find 1, 10 and 100 more or less.

This carries on more or less work that we have been doing in school.  You are now working with numbers up to 1000

Edit and improve

In this lesson, we will discuss what editing is and what an editor does. Then we will practise editing together. The pupils will then edit their own writing.

Click on the link and follow the video. Pause and complete tasks as required

Use this time to finish off your library book on Harriett Tubman. This can be found on your Reading Eggs App.

Lesson Objective:  Separating Mixtures- Can we separate a mixture of sand and water?

In this lesson, we will learn about how to separate soluble and insoluble solids from water.

Watch the lesson and pause when requested in order to complete the activities.

If you would like to complete the experiment during today's lesson, you will need some salt, sand, water and a spoon.  If you don't have these, don't worry as the lesson will show you a demonstration.

Year 5 Friday Physical Challenge

Can you manage today's challenge? Can you challenge other people in your house to complete it?
Have fun,
Mrs. Richards
