Grammar

Learning Objective:  Know when to use a question mark.

Think about the different sentence types we learnt about two weeks ago.  A question mark is used at the end of a sentence which asks a question.

Today, you are going to think about a range of different questions in order to interview someone.    Watch the video and see if you can identify the different questions asked.

I suggest you watch it all the way through the first time.  Then watch it again, but this time I would like you to write down the questions that are asked (you do not need to write down the answers).  For example:  What is your name?

Don’t forget that you need to include a question mark (?) at the end of the sentence which is asking the question.

You are going to interview someone living in your household.  I would like you to think of 5 questions which you  could ask them.  You could magpie these from the questions you heard on the video.  You could write these on the Interview Questions sheet or just on a piece of paper.
