Eco Warriors

We are the Eco leads at St Mary's School. We have a team of Eco Warriors from every class who help us make sure that we are doing everything that we can to help save the environment.

We have meetings with Mrs Dearman and decide what we need to focus on. We have bought new recycling bins for the playground and have done an assembly to help everybody to learn which bin to use.

We are making a special Eco-garden where bees can pollinate and there are lots of places for wildlife to live. We will grow lots of different plants and make bird-feeders.

Every year, we go to an Eco summit with lots of other schools from our Trust and we find different ways to look after our planet. We made the Eco charter.
