Use this time to finish off your library book on Harriett Tubman. This can be found on your Reading Eggs App.

Science:

Lesson Objective:  Separating Mixtures- Can we separate a mixture of sand and water?

In this lesson, we will learn about how to separate soluble and insoluble solids from water.

Watch the lesson and pause when requested in order to complete the activities.

If you would like to complete the experiment during today's lesson, you will need some salt, sand, water and a spoon.  If you don't have these, don't worry as the lesson will show you a demonstration.

Year 5 Friday Physical Challenge

Can you manage today's challenge? Can you challenge other people in your house to complete it?
Have fun,
Mrs. Richards
