Friday 15th

Maths: Round to 10,100 and 1000.

Today’s lesson is new learning for Year 5. Click on the link and watch the video, then complete the worksheet. You can print this or write your answers on a separate piece of paper. Once you have finished, you can check your answers. If this lesson has taken you less than an hour - and you have checked and corrected your mistakes - then please do the extension tasks and/or Timestables Rockstars.

Miss Rice's Maths Group: Numbers to 1000.

There is no worksheet for today’s activity. You will need to use the place value grid from earlier in the week to help you. If you do not have a printer, then you can draw one yourself on a piece of paper.

English:

Lesson 4: To develop a rich understanding of words associated with being hardworking.

Follow the video and complete the tasks when asked to.

Reading Eggs:

Complete your assignment on Reading Eggs. From today, your assignment is to read a book about Harriet Tubman. You will be unable to do anything else on Reading Eggs until you have completed this. This book has 4 chapters and there is a quiz after each chapter. This assignment will remain open for a week, so if you cannot finish it all today, then please do not worry. You may want to add to the notes you have been making in your English lessons this week with the new things you are learning.

Science:

Lesson Objective: How can we separate mixtures into pure substances?

Watch the lesson and complete the tasks as required.
