Tiggywinkles, The Wildlife Hospital Trust
On Wednesday 16th June the children will be taking part in a Collective Worship all about Tiggywinkles, The Wildlife Hospital Trust, which is based in Haddenham. Tiggywinkles is a free wildlife hospital, the busiest and most advanced in the World. Started 40 years ago by the Stocker family in their back garden, Tiggys has treated over 300,000 patients! Utilising the latest technologies, the best veterinary nurses, and specialist veterinary surgeons, the hospital gives wildlife the best care, treatment, medicine and love available. Their aim is to get everything back to the wild.
At the beginning of the year the Junior Leadership Team gathered a list of charities, from their classes, that they would like to support over the year. Tiggywinkles was one of them. Therefore, starting from Thursday the 17th June until Friday 25th June we would like to support them. The hospital is always in high demand of the following items: towels, newspapers, stationery, tinned cat or dog food and kitten biscuits (meat-based please, no fish flavours). We would be most grateful if you are able to donate any of the above items to help them with their lifesaving work. Please could the children bring in their donated items each morning and place them in the Tiggywinkles box, which will be outside each classroom. We will collect all the items cover the coming weeks and Mrs Clark will deliver them to them in due course.
We would like to thank you in advance for all your support and generosity.
