Pupils Moving to Secondary School in September 2026

Moving to secondary school is a big step in a child's life and it is important that you, as parents/carers, are able to make an informed decision. 

Pupils in Year 6 in Buckinghamshire may take a secondary transfer test (11+) in order to decide whether they are suited to a Buckinghamsire grammar school.

In 2025, the secondary transfer test will take place on 11th September, with the practice test taking place on 9th September.

Results are released on 10th October.

You must apply for your child's school place before 31st October.

You will be offered your school place on 2nd March 2026.
