  • Y2 trip to Claydon House

    Y2 children had a wonderful day at Claydon House. They dressed up as soldiers and learnt about the treacherous journey they would had in orderl to get to Crimea, they also learnt how to load their rifle. 

    They pretended they were nurses and soldiers in Scutari Hospital and learnt of the awful conditions that Florence faced.

    They also sat on the very same bed that Florence would have slept in when visiting her sister at Claydon House.

    Our Reception children were delighted to share their classroom and their learning with parents and carers this week. Everybody had a wonderful time, sharing stories, exploring the environment, developing their creativity and making new friends.
