Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Pupils from St Mary’s channel your inner superhero for Red Nose Day
On Friday 19 March, pupils from St Mary’s will have the opportunity to dress up as their favourite superhero, wear a superhero mask or mufti clothes for the suggested donation of £1, for Red Nose Day.
From Wonder Woman to Superman, the day of dress up will put the power to change the world in pupils’ hands as they take part in superhero-inspired activities throughout the day to raise money for Red Nose Day.
By channelling their inner superhero, pupils will be able to unleash their superpowers to support people living incredibly tough lives across the UK and around the world. The money raised by Red Nose Day will support people in the UK around the world, and help tackle homelessness, abuse and mental health stigma.
Red Nose Day is back on Friday 19 March and will aim to bring the UK together (although we may be apart) to show just how powerful humour can be through the toughest of times.
It has never felt more important to raise smiles and money for those who are struggling more than ever, as the continued impact of Covid-19 brings unprecedented challenges to many.
Money raised by Red Nose Day will help vulnerable people in the UK and around the world.
To help us support this charity please could the children bring in their donation and give it to their class teacher when they arrive in school on the morning of the 19th March.
