During your time at home, I thought it would be nice for you to have a selection of things to allow you to keep singing and hearing great music, as well as some interesting and fun things to do to sing, compose and make music yourself – using just what you have at home.  If you want to send your class teacher or me any pictures or videos you have created, then please do so via your class email or to me on  I really look forward to seeing and hearing what you come up with.

I also know that, for some of you who play instruments, you have a great opportunity to do some practice and I really look forward to you showing me what you have learnt when you return.

Have fun, and happy music making.

  • Daily Singing Sessions
These are a very similar format to the lessons that I teach in school - or that you will have done in singing assemblies with me. Enjoy them!

  • Fun musical challenges
Join the Royal Scottish National Orchestra for some fun challenges to complete at home using a variety of things which you can find in your house. I have had great fun with wine glasses and saucepans and wooden spoons! I hope you enjoy them...

  • Sing Education
A range of short different songs and singing challenges to do at home.

  • Albert's Band
A range of short videos - from the Royal Albert Hall - about different instruments of the orchestra and how they make their sound.
